Marcin Sczaniecki is a photographer, film editor and human rights lawyer living in Warsaw. He graduated from the University of Edinburgh and the Academy of Photography in Warsaw. Many years of living abroad and working for international institutions and organisations such as the European Court of Human Rights and Amnesty International have drawn his attention to the problems faced by marginalised groups. In his work, he tries to reflect this humanistic perspective and present things as they are. He is primarily interested in people and their stories. He often reaches for the film camera, as he believes this medium most fully captures the beauty of imperfection.
